Mechanic: Resurrection

Arthur Bishop (Jason Statham), the world's most dangerous assassin, has retreated from his life as a "mechanic," settling into quiet anonymity in Rio de Janeiro. His peace is violently interrupted when a former associate, the ruthless arms dealer Riah Crain (Sam Hazeldine), attempts to coerce him into taking on three impossible, high-profile assassinations. When Bishop refuses, Crain orchestrates a kidnapping, forcing Bishop out of retirement and straight into an intense Action Movie.

Crain uses Gina Thorne (Jessica Alba), a woman Bishop meets and quickly falls for in Thailand, as leverage. To secure her freedom, Bishop must eliminate three targets a warlord, a human trafficker, and Crain's former business partner making each death look like an accident. This global assignment sends Bishop to every corner of the world, starting with an audacious kill in a maximumsecurity prison high up in a Brazilian mountain fortress. The execution of the contract is a masterclass in calculated Stealth Action, demonstrating Bishop's unmatched skill in creating scenarios where death seems accidental.

The danger ratchets up as Bishop travels to Sydney for the second target, a billionaire trafficker residing in a spectacular penthouse with a terrifying glassbottom pool hanging over the city. Bishop's infiltration and escape require astonishing feats of athleticism and engineering ingenuity, including a dizzying freefall that culminates in a thrilling display of High-Stakes Stunts. During this leg of the mission, Bishop begins communicating subtly with Gina, realizing she is smarter and more capable than Crain suspects, and they start working together in secret.

The final target is Max Adams (Tommy Lee Jones), an eccentric, heavily guarded arms dealer residing on a remote island base. Adams, aware of Bishop's reputation and the contracts, prepares for an assault. Bishop, realizing Crain betrayed him and never intended to release Gina, turns the tables. The assault on Adams' island base transforms from an assassination attempt into a fullscale assault, featuring massive Explosive Set Pieces and closequarters combat against Adams' private militia.

The climax unfolds during a brutal firefight on Crain's own yacht. Bishop and Adams, having formed an uneasy alliance, trap Crain, turning his own deadly arsenal against him. Bishop engineers a spectacular finale, rigging the yacht to explode while ensuring Gina is safe. The film concludes with Crain meeting a fitting end and Bishop, having secured his revenge and regained his freedom, disappearing once more with Gina, leaving the authorities and the underworld scrambling to determine who survived this ultimate demonstration of Adrenaline-Pumping Action.
