X-Men Origins: Wolverine
Choosing peace, James, now Logan, finds solace and love in a remote Canadian cabin with Kayla Silverfox. But the past refuses to die. When Victor (Sabretooth) resurfaces, seemingly killing Kayla, Logan’s fragile sanity shatters. Grief transforms into pure, weaponized fury, setting him on a desperate, self-destructive path of vengeance.
Colonel William Stryker, the puppet master of their past, exploits Logan's rage, luring him into the Weapon X program with the promise of ultimate power to destroy Victor. Logan willingly submits to the agonizing process where his entire skeleton is fused with the indestructible metal, Adamantium, a transformation that makes him Wolverine but sacrifices his humanity.
Escaping the facility, Logan’s pursuit of Victor becomes a dark road trip where he uncovers Stryker's true, insidious objective: he didn't just want a weapon, he needed test subjects for his ultimate mutant hybrid. The trail leads Logan to discover the chilling reality that Kayla is alive and that Stryker is building his apex creation: the silent, deadly Deadpool.
The final confrontation erupts on Three Mile Island. Logan, forced into an uneasy, temporary alliance with his hated brother Victor, must battle Stryker’s unstoppable creation and the Colonel himself. In the chaotic conclusion, Logan defeats the villain but pays a terrible price: an Adamantium bullet erases his memories, leaving him a blank slate—the fierce, amnesiac hero destined for the X-Men.
